ECCOMAS'96 - Numerical methods in engineering and computational fluid dynamics

A conference on numerical methods in engineering and computational fluid dynamics, ECCOMAS'96, will be held in Paris, France, from 9 to 13 September 1996. The conference is organized by ECCOMAS, the European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences.

The conference will discuss and present the state of the art in scientific computing applied to engineering sciences. Equal emphasis will be given to basic methodologies, scientific developments and industrial applications. Major areas to be considered will include fluid dynamics, structural mechanics and electromagnetics.

The conference will also have special technological sessions and exhibits demonstrating the cooperation between research and industry in this field, including projects funded by the European Community's BRITE/EURAM specific RTD programme in the field of industrial materials and technologies. CORDIS, the Community's Research and Development Information Service, will have a stand at the exhibition, where the full range of CORDIS products, including the nine online CORDIS services, the CD-ROM, the Watch-CORDIS Windows interface to the online services and the CORDIS World Wide Web server, will be on display.
