In the framework of the Community's EUROPARTENARIAT programme, a partnering event entitled "Baltic Sea Partenariat" will take place in Gdynia, Poland, from 19 to 20 September 1996.
The aim of this event is to bring together SMEs from the Baltic region, to encourage more international marketing strategies and to develop partnerships with SMEs from the European Union. It will concentrate on companies involved in the maritime industries, including ship-building, offshore construction, marine equipment, transport, fishing and fisheries products, technical services and RTD.
Around 200 SMEs from the Baltic region will be present, and enterprises from EU countries may arrange appointments on the basis of a catalogue which will be distributed widely throughout a network of national coordination points around Europe.
