Commercial opportunities from multimedia research

An event entitled "Commercial multimedia opportunities from European research - Exploitation day" will be held in Dublin, Ireland, on 25 September 1996. The event is organized by Forbairt, the Irish Innovation Relay Centre.

Participants in the day will have the opportunity to learn from the experiences of six high-quality projects which were funded by the Community's specific RTD programme in the field of information technologies (ESPRIT). The six completed projects to be presented are in fields such as translation, home shopping and electronic publishing.

As well as the presentations from these projects, there will be question and answer sessions and pre-arranged meetings to develop and explore commercial opportunities.
