ERUDIT Technical and Functional Meetings

ERUDIT, the European Network of Excellence in uncertainty techniques developments for use in information technology, is organizing a number of meetings of its Technical and Functional Committees and Special Interest Groups (SIGs), to be held in Nancy, France, on 6 December 1996.

The meetings programmed include:

- Meeting of Technical Committee C: Components, capital and consumer goods;
- Meeting of Technical Committee D: Traffic and telecommunications, "State of the art of fuzzy logic in traffic management";
- Meeting of the SIG on fuzzy information engineering;
- Meeting of the Technology Transfer Committee: follow-up of the ERUDIT competition;
- Meeting of the Human Resource Committee: Distance learning application to EU - SOCRATES application.

The ERUDIT Network of Excellence is supported by DG III (Industry) of the European Commission within the framework of the Community's specific RTD programme in the field of information technologies (ESPRIT).
