Educational Multimedia Information Day

The European Commission's Educational Multimedia Task Force is organizing an Information Day, to be held on 10 January 1997, in Brussels, Belgium, in relation to the joint call for proposals for educational multimedia projects. This call, to be launched on 17 December 1996, involves six Community programmes in the fields of RTD and education and training.

The Information Day will provide participants with a detailed outline of the opportunities presented by each of the six programmes:

- Information Technologies (ESPRIT);
- Telematics Applications;
- Targeted Socio-economic Research (TSER);
- Trans-European telecommunications networks (TEN-TELECOM);
- Vocational training action programme (LEONARDO DA VINCI);
- Education action programme (SOCRATES).

In addition, participants will be able to meet with a wide range of prospective partners from the different sectors involved.
