Sustainable technologies for efficient energy production

The second EUREKA Brokerage Event for sustainable technologies for efficient energy production (STEEP 2) will be held in Budapest, Hungary, on 24 and 25 April 1997. The event is organized by ETSU, on behalf of the UK EUREKA Unit.

EUREKA aims to facilitate collaborative RTD projects between European companies, research and technology organizations and higher education institutes. Brokerage events such as STEEP 2 are focused on the formation of strong collaborative RTD projects and partnerships.

STEEP 2 aims to build on the strong foundations of the first event, held in 1994, in which over 150 delegates participated. The event will have a short plenary session, following which a series of workshops will be held, focusing on the needs of the participants. Areas which will be covered include technologies for energy production from solid fuels (coal, wastes, biomass, etc.) and from hydro sources.
