BIOS Europe '97 - European biomedical optics

BIOS Europe '97, the annual European biomedical optics event, will take place in Sanremo, Italy, from 4 to 8 September 1997. The event is part of the Europto series of conferences and is organized jointly by the European Laser Association (ELA) and the International Biomedical Optics Society (IBOS). It is sponsored by DG XII (Science, research and development) of the European Commission.

Papers presenting new research and development results, or new clinical application results, are invited in the following areas:

- Medical applications:
- Optoelectronic research and technologies;
- Biomedical systems and technologies.
