ESPRIT - Integration in Manufacturing (IiM)

The European Community's strategic RTD programme in the field of Information Technologies (ESPRIT) is planning to continue its successful series of annual conferences on "Integration in Manufacturing" (IiM), with the next conference provisionally scheduled to be held in Dresden, Germany, on 24-26 September 1997.

The aims of the conference are to:

- Disseminate information on ongoing work in the IiM domain of the ESPRIT programme;
- Raise awareness of the potential for applying advanced information technology in the manufacturing and productive industries;
- Stimulate closer cooperation between industry and the research community.
