Commercial multimedia opportunities

A brokerage event focusing on commercial multimedia opportunities will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 18 April 1997. The event is organized by Technopol, the Brussels Innovation Relay Centre, in cooperation with several other members of the Innovation Relay Centres network.

The morning will feature presentations of seven multimedia projects developed with support from the European Community's ESPRIT programme. Participants will be able to discuss the projects with their developers and see extended demonstrations in the afternoon.

The seven projects to be presented are:

- HOMESTEAD 2000: Home shopping;
- EUROMEDIA: Improved access to archives;
- ERASTA: Animation;
- AMAS: Editing and multimedia authoring;
- AMIDE: Information dissemination environment;
- CITED: Monitoring and control of on-line resources;
- NEWSPAD: Portable electronic newspaper.
