Impact of food on health - Current research in Europe
The main sessions will cover the following topics:
- Functional foods;
- Allergy;
- Characterization of food allergens;
- Food evaluation;
- Information and consumer concerns;
- Nutrition and well-being.
In addition to presentations of the results of a number of projects in the field, supported by the Commission under the AIR and FAIR programmes, the prospects for research in the food and health field under the Fifth Framework Programme will be presented by the Commission.
