Optimized Composite Structures for Small Aircraft

The target of this workpackage is to research and develop technologies for more affordable composite aero structures with focus on cost effective existing materials and improvement of production technologies for a later full composite wing production. Four main areas will be investigated: Design, Materials and Manufacturing Processes, MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul), and Verification and Validation.
