Multi-Material Thermoplastic high pressure Nitrogen Tanks for Aircrafts

Employing fiber reinforced thermoplastics bears the potential to reduce manufacturing costs and to enhance performance of high pressure airborne gas tanks compared to state of the art components. To fully exploit this potential, a combination of different materials in one tank shell forming a Multi-Material Tank (MMT) is required.
