Protocols Handbook for chemical characterization and preparatory techniques. (opens in new window)

Besides previous approaches conducted by consortium members PHM SZN and MATIS will guide the preparation of standardized methods on sample processing and sharing This is crucial since samples from cultures clones or pool of clones and any extractsfractions containing traces of siderophore or surfactant activity need to be properly standardized to ensure the good progress of the project This will ultimately lead the development of a Handbook for chemical characterization and preparatory techniques D21 on month M6 and is closely related to deliverables envisaged in Tasks 5154 The Handbook will be revised and updated within WP5 activities

Final report on phylogenetic tree database for siderophore and biosurfactant biosynthetic gene clusters containing novel enzymes and their reactions. (opens in new window)

Public available siderophore and biosurfactant biosynthetic gene clusters and enzymes and their reactions will be delivered after identifying Key Exploitable Results KERs which will be described later in the interim PEDR D82 in M36

Protocols Handbook of screening procedures for extremophilic microorganisms (opens in new window)

PHM ADL LUND MATIS USE and SZN will work together on the development of a standardized screening pipeline which will be applied to evaluate the potential of all the project microbial collections for the production of bioactive molecules This will allow the reproducibility of the results in the biodiscovery of new biosurfactants and siderophores A single deliverable D22 on month M6 will be achieved by reporting a Protocols Handbook of screening procedures for marine and extremophilic microorganisms

Final report on SECRETed Molecular Networks: New molecular structures and associated features to molecular fingerprints. (opens in new window)

Public available molecular structures and the inference of associated features to molecular fingerprints will be delivered after identifying Key Exploitable Results KERs which will be described later in the interim PEDR D83 in M36

Project website and social media presence (opens in new window)

The website will contain a brief presentation of the project goals and objectives along with a brief description of the consortium and the implemented work strategy It will serve as the major source of information for the public regarding updates achievements and activitiesAs a result the website will be continuously updated with any relevant updateSocial media accounts for the direct promotion of SECRETed will be set up These accounts will be active in both professional networks eg LinkedIn and publicsocial networks eg Facebook Twitter enabling the projects communication to be as broad as possible Active and continuous online presence can be ensured with the social media accounts providing direct measurements on the interested audience and its engagement rate
