Report of comparative studies and site decommissioned (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

The deliverable summarises and compares the phytoremediation strategies and results obtained in the different sites. This will aim at sharing knowledge between remediation strategies with energy plants, and show how this can be adapted to different pedoclimatic conditions and enhanced through different soil amendments, and will ensure reproducibility of results by providing details of implementation success, problematics faced at different stages of the remediation campaign, as well as tools to overcome those. This deliverable refers to task 2.4.

This deliverable is the result of T2.2 and responds to the Specific Objective 2.2. It will contain the results of the characterisation of heavy metals and hydrocarbons in real soil samples, the description of the phytoremediation capacity optimization tests for the 5 sites, as well as the obtained results.

The process and its impact indicators resulting from sustainability analysis will be discussed in terms of meeting the RSB criteria and SDGs. Legal analysis of potential legal bottlenecks and opportunities (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

This deliverable concerns the actual legal analysis of the bottlenecks and opportunities that have been identified, mapped and compiled under D6.1.In this context, the relevant bottlenecks and opportunities will be thoroughly analysed with the objective to determine and evaluate their potential impact. The content of the legal analysis will also be fed into the project- and business-support tool.This deliverable is also related to the smooth running of Phy2Climate, following its implementation and stepping in when legal input is needed for issues that might arise in the course of the execution of the project.This deliverable is connected to Tasks 6.5 and 6.6.

Formulation of policy recommendation and development of a project- and business- support tool (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

Following the successful execution of the previous deliverables, the next natural step in a legal analysis that is useful not just for scientific purposed but also to society as a whole is the formulation of legal and policy recommendations. This exercise needs to be performed in such a way as to guarantee i.a. not only coherence and consistency within the legal system and assessed legal framework but also other aspects, such as, for example, reduction of costs and administrative hurdles, and optimal protection of the environment and human health.The project- and business-support tool will also contain the data resulting from this activity.This deliverable is connected to Tasks 6.7.
