Periodic Reporting for period 1 - LignoPrintCap (From biomass to compact inkjet-printed micro-supercapacitors: ink development, device printing and performance evaluation)
Berichtszeitraum: 2022-08-01 bis 2024-07-31
During my stay at ICL, I attended group meetings and could build connections with other researchers at ICL. I presented the LignoPrintCap concept as well as my research plans in one of the group meetings. I discussed the characterization methods with other researchers, and also provided the audiences with some information about a novel characterization method “X-ray micro-computed tomography (CT scan)” for energy storage devices.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to continue my research because of the permanent job (Tenure-Track Assistant Professor) that I got. If I could continue the project, I would have several plans to communicate the project results. Here are the parts of those plans:
1- Besides academic and R&D sectors, the general public was another key audience target in the LignoPrintCap project.
2- To foster the visibility of the project, I was supposed to get help from the Communication and Public Affairs division which shares the stories of life and work at ICL with audiences through numerous channels including media relations, online news, public events, videos, and social media. Telling stories is also one of the effective approaches to sharing the results with policy and decision-makers. To support evidence-based policy development, I was supposed to use Imperial’s policy engagement program “The Forum”.
3- For public outreach, I was supposed to make a YouTube channel to present the results of the project in a simplified manner.
