This report contains a detailed list of the converter topologies found in literature (papers, patents, and commercial solutions) that can be used in POWERDRIVE. Such list will contain assessment and KPIs to help the preselection for the further tasks as well as modulation and control techniques.

This report contains a detailed list of the inverter topologies found in literature (papers, patents, and commercial solutions) that can be used in POWERDRIVE. Such list will contain assessment and KPIs to help the preselection for the further tasks.Change in due date requested by Chalmers due to the following:Chalmers has initiated several concept evaluation studies with other project partners (Infineon, Rogers, and SCIRE). Since we have had a delay in the official joining of Infineon to the project, it was impossible to make sufficient progress in the concept studies. These studies will take 3-4 months to be concluded.Chalmers plans to build an intermediate 3-phase inverter prototype using HybridPack to verify the preliminary design of the inverter (gate driver, DC link capacitor stress, heat sink, and DC bus bar). The results will aid in finalizing the inverter specification. However, this activity is also affected by the official inclusion of Infineon in the project. The current plan is to have a working prototype by the end of September to Mid-October.The delay should consider the summer vacation period (July-Aug)
