Transformation scenarios for boosting organic farming and organic aquaculture towards the Farm-to-Fork targets

Report on Delphi expert interviews on value chain changes and business strategies (opens in new window)

Delphy interviews will be carried out with about 25 European experts from the focus countries to get insight in the value chain actors in reaction to the identified scenarios, the expectations in demand and market trends, supply chain structure, and value chain development.

Core Organic Pleiades network roadmap to 2030 and EU-level recommendations for better alignment of transnational R&I investments (opens in new window)

Compilation of the identified national (or regional) legal and procedural obstacles to transnationally coordinated R&I investments and draft recommendations for alignment and harmonisation of R&I investments.

First batch of 10 Practice abstracts (opens in new window)

The first 10 practice abstracts will summarise the practical recommendations coming from the work carried in WP5 and WP4 targeting organic practitioners.

Assessment of agricultural and aquaculture policy responses to the organic F2F targets (opens in new window)

This deliverable will be an inventory of current policies for organic sector development compared with 2014-2020, an assessment of how MS have responded to the EU Commission’s organic target and an inventory on policy instruments in place for organic sector development

Analysis of barriers of conversion and recommendations for strengthening organic advisory services and capacity building (opens in new window)

the report will include recommendations on mutual learning processes, the initiation of viable new conversion/organic advisory services in countries where they are not yet available, possible funding mechanisms or public-private partnerships to develop or scale up advisory services and relationships for a viable professional network beyond the project lifetime.

Report on assortment change and active marketing effects on demand pattern (opens in new window)

Experimental online supermarket studies will be carried to analyse the effect of supply-based assortment as well as brand strategy changes and nudges and changes in choice context, on demand patterns over time. Results will include about 300 consumers segments in each country who will repeatedly ‘shop’ in the online supermarket, while selected assortment characteristics and nudges will be altered over time.

Synthesis of key drivers and lock-ins for organic sector development (opens in new window)

This deliverable will be a structured inventory and synthesis of key drivers and lock-ins

Assessment of the knowledge and innovation systems for organic producers and value chain actors (opens in new window)

This deliverable will be be a qualified inventory of existing knowledge and innovation systems for the organic sector in the focus countries.

The deliverable will report on the launch of the project website by month 3 and the explanations of its components.
