Periodic Reporting for period 1 - Game Changer (Game Changing Deep-Tech removing barrier to farmed salmon production growth for climate- & planet-friendly low carbon footprint animal protein)

The overall objectives of the Game Changer project within the WomenTechEU programme were for the woman-led Deep Tech company to:
i) advance B2B customer traction,
ii) build the business model and capital raising strategy and
iii) position the company for its first capital investment and further help finance the technology development.
These objectives have all been met.

The activities in the project revolved around:
i) Developing company branding and a professional pitch as well as delivering pitches to investors
ii) Applying for further R&D grants to support development of the technology and team expansion
iii) Search for Strategic Partners
iv) Build company assets and prepare financials for inclusion in pitches, business plan and grant applications.
Achievements:
i) Company branding was developed - website, LinkedIn, pitch deck and business plans are all professionally branded
ii) Pitch Deck was developed
iii) 24 pitches were delivered to 15 investment funds
iv) Pre-seed investment of Euro 100,000 was successfully obtained

The company has increased its credibility from an investor perspective. Further key needs are to i) raise further capital investor to enable the technology to developed and demonstrated at a suitable site and ii) protect the technology with intellectual property.
