Sintesi del contesto e degli obiettivi generali del progetto

Women Tech Eu provides financial support, project coaching and networking with a community of women entrepreneurs. Thanks to Women Tech Eu, I've been lucky enough to be able to finance expenses that are rarely subsidized, such as business activities, intellectual property expenses and fund-raising support. Unlike other European calls for projects, which focus mainly on R&D funding, Women Tech Eu supports the overall project to bring a product to market. The grant came at just the right moment for my Safehear company. It's a risky time to bring a product and technologies to market, and we need help and support.

With Safehear we develop audio and radio technology and our first product is Louis, a made in France device capable to connect to all hearing protection and allows communication in noisy industrial environment. With this product, we've set ourselves the mission of limiting occupational accidents and illnesses in industry linked to a lack of communication in noise.
If industry is moving towards modernity, it's essential that people in this field are equipped and protected with appropriate technologies.
We are committed to developing useful technologies that help people's hearing.

The program's main activities focused on pre-commercializing our product, creating the first links with the market: either exhibiting at a trade show, or launching targeted advertising campaigns. Other parallel activities were integrated into the project, such as preparing to raise funds, protecting our innovations by developing an intellectual property strategy, and R&D on finalizing the latest product functionalities. These parallel activities are essential for a successful market launch.

We have had the opportunity to carry out a dozen successful market pilots with industrial customers. We have also delivered our first customers, who use the solution on a daily basis.
As far as fund-raising is concerned, we'll be closing in July. The funds raised will enable us to launch volume industrialization and accelerate marketing.
