It will focus on the definitions of zero energy buildings (ZEB) and nearly-zero energy buildings (NZEB) for new and existing buildings, as well as sharing good practices for their successful rollout across the EU. To prepare the report, the researchers will build on the results of other ongoing projects on NBRPs and conduct a survey among IWG5 members and other building experts sharing knowledge and providing feedback on the national experience on ZEBs and NZEBs. The results will be presented as a report with recommendation which will also include some circularity aspects.

ECTP and EUREC will screen the NECPs comparatively and collect industry stakeholders’ views, from IWG5, B4P and beyond (NECP analysis work shall be a joint activity with ETIPs), compiling their work into this Deliverable.
