A formal ethics submission will be made to UCD for the pilot dress rehearsal and first wave of the GUIDE study updated submissions will be made before each successive wave This will include the questionnaires participant consent assent forms fieldworker protocols and privacy notice MMU UCD

Risk Management Plan 1 (opens in new window)

To create an overarching risk management document for the GUIDE survey, that focuses on specific operational risks for the Central Hub and shared operational risks across the National Nodes.

Sponsorship Package (opens in new window)

Sponsorship drive. Creation of a sponsorship package for private and non-profit sponsors (e.g., international philanthropists, charities) and drive to recruit sponsors.

Commitments Package (opens in new window)

Commitments drive. Identification of main funders (e.g., Governments, Research Councils). Schedule of repeated meetings with main funders and GUIDE representatives (National Node and Central Hub). Timeline for funder commitments. Creation of a commitments package for main funders. Secure expressions of commitment in time for the GUIDE full pilot in 2026.

Sampling and Recruitment Strategy (opens in new window)

Develop GUIDE sampling and recruitment strategy. Establish the criteria for each national sample in collaboration with national partners, with a submission and approval process for national sampling frames. Calculation of projected costs for sample recruitment in approximately ten countries.

Policy briefs (opens in new window)

GUIDE policy briefs. Production of themed policy briefs using COORDINATE GUIDE pilot data and presentation of results at a thematic workshop.

GUIDE Cognitive Assessments (opens in new window)

Cognitive instruments. Pilot test of cognitive tests for infants, parents, and 8-year-olds, in different modes of data collection.

Create a financial management plan for the operation of the Central Hub.
