"4 cross organizational multidisciplinary research (COMR) teams will be created, research will be led by supervisors from TU DELFT or LUT UNIVERSITY in different subtopics, with the participation of junior and senior researchers from UNIM.Research subtopic #1: Urban and waste mining, material recyclingResearch subtopic #2: Processing technologies in waste recyclingResearch subtopic #3: Circular manufacturingResearch subtopic #4: Sustainable energy transition – Just transitionThe COMR teams as core groups of the project will define their respective research gaps, generating joint research topics and project ideas that working together sharing knowledge and experience as well as infrastructure through mobility"
Meetups and Podcasts set up and scheduled (öffnet in neuem Fenster)MeetUps will be organized quarterly covering scientific topics as well as science and innovation management topics in an informal way to attract like-minded people from all over the partner organization network and hopefully beyond. The MeetUps are equally providing the opportunity to learn and share experience as well as to network with professionals having similar background and interestSupporting dissemination and exploitation, a Podcast will be launched and held -at first bi-monthly- inviting relevant guests talk about science related topics as well science and innovation management, trends, and challenges. We are expecting that the Podcast will help the consortium reach out professionals active in the field of circular economy and science and innovation management. Based on initial experience and feedbacks and hopefully rising popularity, the Podcast broadcasting frequency will be reviewed. The organisation and planning of the content of meetups and podcasts will start early in the project and by M15 all meetups and podcasts shall be defined and scheduled.
Expert visits and research gap identification workshop (öffnet in neuem Fenster)4 cross organizational multidisciplinary research teams will be created, research will be led by supervisors from TU DELFT or LUT UNIVERSITY in different subtopics, with the participation of junior and senior researchers from UNIM. Teams will mutually work together on the different subtopics, applying a dynamic research working methology continuously exchanging views and results to create synergies between efforts. The research on the above mentioned topics will be carried out on the basis of – identification of the level of technology currently used by the companies operating in Northern Hungary compared to state of the art technology level and solutions for the same applications identified via a technology scouting. Identifying the technology gap allows the research teams to investigate social, market, financial-economic and policy related barriers to adopt more efficient technologies, develop solutions and actions to overcome barriers of regional development. The first expert visits will be organised until month 10 concluded in a Research gap identification workshop.
Exploratory research will be carried out within the broader topic of Sustainable Circular Economy as a vehicle to drive science excellence and capacity building in UNIM under the leadership of TU DELFT. Throughout the activity topic related research gaps will be identified and based on those gaps, sub research topics will be addressed by joint research carried out by cross organizational multidisciplinary research teams. The teams will work according to the Strategy on Joint Research activities elaborated jointly by all Partners by M12. This research paper will elaborate on initial research steps and short-long term objectives of the research activities as well on envisioned steps on how to scale up research activities, means of research funding and widen the research group inviting new members even outside of the consortium
Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Plan including project website (öffnet in neuem Fenster)Partners in the project will disseminate the results of the project at institutional, national and European levels through dedicated news items project’s website on partners’ website, social media and magazines as well as through scientific journals and conference participation. At early phase a communication, dissemination and exploitation plan will be created of what the consortium will update regularly. The final CDE plan will be ready to focus on project results exploitation with proactive actions taken. An important tool of the communication will be the project website, which will be set up early in the project, preferably in M2 or M3.Communication, dissemination and exploitation measures and outcomes will be evaluated from time to time and the plan will be updated accordingly
The consortium will produce a detailed data management plan in compliance with the template provided by the EC (Horizon Europe Data Management Plan Template) incorporating FAIR management of data principles. An initial version will be produced early in the project, which is then updated for the project’s final review.
