Project description
Supporting OPERAS
OPERAS is the research infrastructure for Open Scholarly Communication in Social Science and Humanities. It entered the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) roadmap in 2021. The EU-funded OPERAS-PLUS project will support OPERAS as part of the ESFRI research infrastructure projects. Specifically, it will not only strengthen OPERAS' governance structure, but it will also take care of the OPERAS portfolio of services. A significant part of the project work will be the implementation of an Innovation Lab as a monitoring system for services development. The project will also support the establishment and development of OPERAS national nodes. This is especially meant to maximise OPERAS’ impact in the European Research Area and also at an international level, which should lead to onboarding new members in the infrastructure.
