This deliverable is the result of task 5.5. This report includes a detailed analysis of the performance achieved in both the offline data processing, as well as with the onboard site demonstrator. For that the report will include detailed plots and data interpretation of many analysed parameters, as the results of analysis, whether the functional and non-functional requirements (excluding all RAMS requirements), which are needed to be fulfilled by the system to meet the high-level needs of IM and RU towards absolute safe train positioning.

This report is the output of task 2.1 and defines the high-level needs of IM and RU and the system capabilities of the Localisation On-Board System needed to fulfil those needs.

This report presents the outcome of the requirements consolidation and gap analysis carried out in task 6.6 and presents the proposed LOC-OB system requirements including RAMSS and potential technical gaps that need to be addressed (by subsequent standardisation activities) in the respective TSI’s, to the point where an open market can be created and interoperability between products of different suppliers can be achieved.

This report is the output of task 2.3 and contains system boundary, architecture, digital map definition needed for localisation and external interface definition.

This report is the output of task 2.4 and includes the functional and non-functional requirements (excluding RAMS requirements) needed to be fulfilled by the system to meet the high-level needs of IM and RU towards absolute safe train positioning.

This report presents the CBA on the impact of GNSS based LOC-OB on fully automated train and moving block operations and studies the potential shift of liability from trackside to on-board system (T6.5).
