Report on environmental assessment
(opens in new window)
Analysis of all relevant potential environmental impacts including LCA. Conclusions and recommendations are provided. Associated to Task 7.3
Anchoring and connections to PV system
(opens in new window)
The report for this task includes a summary of analysis results indicating advantages and disadvantages for different design options of the anchoring types and the connections between the floating breakwater and the FPV array. Based on the technical requirements from D2.2, the fulfillment of these criteria for material properties, anchoring type, cost-effectiveness, compatibility with the arrangement of power distribution cables, and functionality of the connections to the FPV array is evaluated. Associated to tasks 3.3 and 3.4.
Report on societal needs and engagement
(opens in new window)
Feedback and engagement from diverse societal groups such as local marine industries, citizens, coastal associations, etc. Associated to Task 8.1
Report on ultimate strength capacity of each connection
(opens in new window)
In this report, the ultimate strength of the criticalComponents (i.e. Mechanical joint and connection systems) of the floating PV system defined in WP3, to check the survivability during extreme scenarios (Storm conditions) will be reported. Associated to Task 6.2
Report on basin tests results
(opens in new window)
The report shall include detailed descriptions of the wave basin tests (facility, instrumentation, experimental setup, wave conditions, physical model geometry, weight distributions), data analysis, key results (motions, accelerations, wave loads, interconnector loads, visual observations) and conclusions. The conclusions shall also reflect on the feasibility of the design.Associated to task 6.4
Summary of global system design
(opens in new window)
Delivered as holistic design documentation for full FPV solution, based on metocean conditions and full system design. Associated with tasks 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, and particularly 2.1-3.4
Report on social assessment
(opens in new window)
Analysis of social sustainability aspects. Conclusions and recommendations are provided. Associated to task 7.5
Design description of internal floating PV components
(opens in new window)
Delivered as design documentation for adaptation of floating solar panels for extreme conditions, integrated with novel wave breaker technology. Associated with tasks 3.1, 3.4 and to limited extent 3.2 and 3.3
Establishing a technical stakeholders advisory board
(opens in new window)
The deliverable is signed intentions of relevant stakeholders participating in the SHB. Associated with task 2.4
Use case scenario basis for typical, rough location
(opens in new window)
In this report, several offshore locations with extreme environmental conditions will be identified and possibility of corrosion and biofouling will be analysed. The worst-case scenarios for a 20 years return period, in accordance with DNV RP 0584 will also be defined. Associated to Task 2.1.
