Airfoil performance model operating with degraded surface caused by precipitation and calima (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Related to Task 3.3. Comparing computed erosion metrics vs. erosion from blade inspections (Moray wind farm); as well as effect of discretization in input data. The measure of success will be that blade inspection provide detail information to feed the models.

Numerical characterization of precipitation impingement on rotating wind turbine (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Related to Task 3.4. Report on the numerical characterization of precipitation impingement on rotating wind turbine is delivered. It is based on the numerical simulation of a turbine in precipitation conditions but evaluated for the local impingements. The measure of success will be that the forces over the wind turbine reflect the existence of precipitation and wind.
