Project description
Strengthening the implementation of the EIC Accelerator programme
The EIC Accelerator supports individual small- and medium-sized enterprises, in particular start-ups and spinout companies, in developing and scaling up game-changing innovations. The EU-funded LIGHTROOM project aims to improve the capacity of a targeted group of stakeholders to assist applicants in terms of understanding the objectives of the EIC Accelerator programme and the EIC AI platform (embedded innovation methods, and actions on the platform to design and submit a proposal). The LIGHTROOM project will develop digital tools supported by artificial intelligence, and organise training workshops. The project is also designed as a training hub. It enables beneficiaries of the training action to get in contact with relevant experts and educational resources, in addition to tools and expertise provided project itself.
Objective
The European Innovation Council (EIC) has created a new wave of opportunities to support and fund European deeptech breakthrough projects thanks to ambitious EIC accelerator program and a unique EIC AI Platform. A European ecosystem of stakeholders is tasked to help, assist and guide innovators through their applications journey. The LIGHTROOM project holds the ambition to improve the capacity building of a targeted group of stakeholders, through an augmented understanding and learning experience of the objectives triggered by the EIC Accelerator program as well as a better control of functionalities and methodologies implemented in the EIC AI platform used by applicants. In achieving so, stakeholders will be capable to provide high-quality assistance to applicants in their command of the different processes underpinned in the EIC AI platform as well as sustaining the dialogue between applicants and the EIC. Through proven methodologies used in the EIC AI platform, LIGHTROOM will engage in a continuous interaction with the different stakeholders to contextualize knowledge gaps and needs, leading to personalized training offers empowered by the Artificial Intelligence. This will enable creating custom-made training development plans that would best align to individual profiles and respond to knowledge gaps assessed through digital assessment tools. LIGHTROOM will develop and provide a unique digital training platform enriched with practical real-life use cases and an interactive user experience through specific information and knowledge, that will help anchoring conceptual and technical understanding, and then, the control over the usual application process. To achieve so, LIGHTROOM will provide a smooth mix of physical and digital training experience making sure progress are continuously monitored all along the project lifetime.
