Building and application of microscale simulation

This Deliverable will focus on the development of a micro-scale thermo-mechanical simulation for bi-material configurations using in-house FEM software.

Spreading of bi-material powder

This report focuses on the DEM study of the behaviour of a bi-layer/multi-layered bi-material spreading and its interaction with a solid part.

Baseline powder: 100 kg FeSi/316L; 80kg Ti; 130kg IN718; 50 kg AlSi10Mg; 100kg CuCrZr

The tailor-made powder batches will be provided to the project partners based on the specific technological needs, to carry out first print runs.
