Deliverables

Media mapping blog (opens in new window)

At the beginning of the project, a blog will be created that offers short posts and texts throughout the project concerning current problems and developments with regard to media and democracy issues in the EU.

Website and project logo (opens in new window)

The website will be the main information resource for stakeholders. It will include several important results including all data the proposed map is based on. Including a “Media Mapping Blog”. An internal part of the website will be established for supporting communication and collaboration between the project partners.

Coordination plan (opens in new window)

With this plan work within all work packages is coordinated and consolidated throughout the project duration. It ensures that all necessary steps will be planned and synchronized to achieve the goals of the project within the different phases. Continuous work planning will be a major tool to ensure project contingency.

Dissemination and exploitation plan (opens in new window)

Detailed guidelines and planning of dissemination, communication and exploitation activities throughout the entire project.

Theoretical framework on democracy, participation and representation (opens in new window)

D2.1 will contain a theoretical reflection on the different meanings of these concepts (and related concepts, as, e.g., trust), their different normative interpretations and their different translations in democratic practice. In the second part of D2.1, the related functions of media and journalism will be (theoretically) analysed.

Analytical models for examining media supply and demand side (opens in new window)

D2.2 will be translate the theoretical models, developed in D2.1, into analytical models that can be used for the empirical analysis organised in the other work packages. This will prevent a disconnection between theory and research, and will ensure that the empirical research is grounded in the academic literature.

Data management plan (opens in new window)

The DMP will evolve during the lifetime of the project in order to present the status of the project's reflections on data management.
