Data related to people’s trust in media and institutions will be presented in D5.2. As much as possible, we will try to provide a breakdown by socio-demographic variables as far as these data are available to the scientific community. The research results are also fed into the media map.

At the beginning of the project, a blog will be created that offers short posts and texts throughout the project concerning current problems and developments with regard to media and democracy issues in the EU.

With this plan work within all work packages is coordinated and consolidated throughout the project duration. It ensures that all necessary steps will be planned and synchronized to achieve the goals of the project within the different phases. Continuous work planning will be a major tool to ensure project contingency.

In the second part of D2.1, the related functions of media and journalism will be (theoretically) analysed.

This will prevent a disconnection between theory and research, and will ensure that the empirical research is grounded in the academic literature.
The DMP will evolve during the lifetime of the project in order to present the status of the project's reflections on data management.
