Recommendations’ Report

This report will provide an enhanced understanding of the European and international audiences, through recommendations for audience development and widening in relation with films coming from small European Countries. Deliverable targeting industry and policy makers/stakeholders. This deliverable will be included in the key deliverable “State of European Film” in WP8.

Persona’s dashboard

The Persona dashboard is a digital tool targeting professionals and institutional stakeholders involved in decision-making towards audience development in view of increasing the competitiveness of films coming from small European Countries. Deliverable based on outputs of T4.

Interactive visual report on the state of the art of European small film markets in comparison to international competitors. Co-Leads: AU and VUB; Contributors: LU, TLU, IRMO (delivery month 12). The visual report showcases the differences of the European small nation film industries, comparing them on the different levels addressed in T3.2 and T3.3. Short articles in D11 elaborate on specific trends. Target groups: industry & policy stakeholders, wider public

"Impact roadmap and the platform ""The State of European Film"" Updated Plan for exploitation, dissemination and communication that aligns and coordinates all WP8 activities with objectives and expected impact; includes dissemination materials, campaign messages, KPIs and timeline of activities and above all the exploitation via a constant update, of the State of European Film platform. This platform is an interactive dashboard that builds on FIDA’s data sources. Integrated with the FIDA tool (D2) the platform includes recommendations for stakeholders for increased capability for transformation and innovation in the sector."

Film production cooperation alliance pilots

Regional and 1 international cooperation alliance pilots with guidelines on the best practices and implementation roadmap; the regional to be undertaken in one of the European small nations that do not have such a model; the international to be a cluster for European small nations will be a pilot network that would promote sharing best practices, developing joint portfolios, marketing products and services, sharing equipment, etc. Project partners will subsequently prepare guidelines for setting up regional, national and international film production cooperation alliances

Toolbox for IP management and business innovation in digital environments

digital and interactive guidelines for IP management and business innovation in digital environments

Film Data pool (FIDA) and simulation web application (FIDA Tool)

Based on the pooled data from multiple public and private film industry databases and the developed new cross-sectional database. The tool will eventually enable users to define their specific analysis or simulation goals and include various factors into the modelling process. The predetermined analytics or simulation models will be developed in negotiations with industry and policy stakeholders, as well as dedicated focus groups with professionals. After the initial prototype is developed, it will be tested with industry users and further improved based on acquired insights. FIDA will include Recommendations on data standards for all of the European film industries.
