Healthy, inclusive and sustainable remote work futures as a Win-Win for employees and employers in urban, rural and cross-border areas

General EC Policy Briefs (opens in new window)

Three general EC Policy Briefs will be published which integrate findings about the economic, social and spatial impacts of RWA from the WP-based policy briefs. A first version will be submitted by M15 and then re-submitted by M30 and M42

Report on state-of-the-art, research gaps and conceptual diagram (opens in new window)

Systematic review of the literature on social, economic and spatial impacts of different types of remote work, i.e. working from home, working in satellite office and digital nomad work. The review will distinguish between lessons learned from the past (before COVID-19), the current state-of-play (during the pandemic) and future scenarios (post-pandemic).

Project handbook (opens in new window)

The project handbook will include: (i) a Project Management Plan, (ii) a Gender Policy, (iii) Quality Management Plan, and (iv) a Risk Assessment Plan.The Project Management Plan will include tools developed by EQY that facilitate know-how exchanges and collaborative work between partners. It also includes financial management tools, as well as management templates to collect administrative information, establish cost statements (timesheets, financial tables) and evaluate project progress (advancement indicators).A Gender Policy will be developed by LISER (with support of all WP leaders) to ensure specific provisions and consideration are in place during relevant project activities across WP1-WP3. A Quality Management Plan will be developed by LISER (with support of all WP leaders) defining the quality procedures to be used throughout the project. A Risk Assessment Plan will be developed by LISER (with support of all WP leaders) identifying potential deviations or setbacks during the project execution and preparing contingency plans to mitigate risks and address them with recovery actions, whenever needed.

WinWin4WorkLife impacts and sustainability report (opens in new window)

Report summarizing the impact of the WinWin4WorkLife project taken into account different target audiences. Moreover, the report will set out the exploitation strategy to spread the outputs and results of the WinWin4WorkLife project after the end of the project. A first version of the report will be submitted by M15 and then re-submitted by M30 and M42.

Ethics and security management report (opens in new window)

Hbits will define specific ethics guidelines to be followed by the consortium partners, and support project partners in fulfulling ethics requirements. Hbits will regularly report on these activities in the Ethics and Security Management reports (M15, M30, M42).

Implementation plan for data collection (opens in new window)

The implementation plan for data collection sets out target groups, sampling procedures, the communication strategy to engage employers and employees (in Finland, Germany, Luxembourg, Portugal, Slovakia). Attention will also be paid to ethics, privacy and GDPR. Moreover, the plan sets out general principles for the employer and employee survey as well as the opt-in survey on digital nomads (in Portugal).

Lexicon on remote work (opens in new window)

Lexicon of 'remote work', thereby focussing on various types of remote work in particular working-from-home, working in satellite office and digital nomad work. The lexicon provides an overview of (i) the definitions used in academic literatures, (ii) how 'remote work' is operationalized and measured in surveys, and (iii) how it is used in EU and national remote work regulations.
