Combler le fossé de l’éducation numérique
À une époque où les avancées technologiques sont rapides, l’UE a fait des progrès considérables dans l’intégration des outils numériques dans l’éducation. Cependant, un aspect crucial souvent négligé est l’impact de la formation des enseignants sur les résultats des élèves. C’est pourquoi le projet EffecTive, financé par l’UE, comblera cette lacune en menant 12 études d’intervention dans cinq pays de l’UE. Axé sur l’encouragement des élèves défavorisés, le projet évalue les effets de la formation des enseignants sur les compétences numériques, les pratiques en classe et les résultats d’apprentissage des élèves. En fournissant une méthodologie et une boîte à outils pour l’analyse coûts-avantages, EffecTive s’efforce d’améliorer les programmes de formation des enseignants, en garantissant l’égalité des chances et en faisant progresser l’Europe vers un avenir plus inclusif sur le plan numérique.
Objectif
Many policy-level measures and programmes have been developed across the EU to support the integration of digital tools into teaching and support the students’ learning through a variety of interventions, mainly through investments in infrastructure, improved access to digital learning resources and providing teacher training on how to implement digital infrastructure in teaching and learning. Less attention has been paid to the impact of investments in teacher preparation and training on student learning and growing inequities have not been addressed. By conducting 12 quasi-experimental intervention studies across 5 EU countries, the EffecTive project tests effects of training conditions on teacher pedagogical digital competence, classroom practices and student learning outcomes and self-regulated learning skills to boost disadvantaged students. The project will contribute to the European knowledge base on the effectiveness and efficiency of teacher training programs, a methodology and toolkit for synthesizing costs and benefits across studies and a cost-efficiency analysis to assess and identify cost-effective policy measures for training.
