Rafforzare la cultura e la scienza per città sostenibili
Nel 2023, uno dei temi che la Presidenza spagnola del Consiglio dell’Unione Europea dovrà affrontare è come le industrie culturali e creative (ICC) possano migliorare la nostra qualità di vita attraverso la cultura e la scienza. In questo contesto, il progetto CULT-IN, finanziato dall’UE, sosterrà l’organizzazione della conferenza «Cultural and Creative Industries, Cities and Citizens Fostering Sustainable Development and the European Way of Living», con l’obiettivo di colmare il divario tra cultura e scienza. L’evento, che si terrà dall’11 al 13 luglio 2023 a Barcellona, presenterà progetti di ICC collaborativi, innovativi e sostenibili, accessibili, economici, socialmente impegnati e arricchenti per tutti. Inoltre, esplorerà come queste industrie possano agire come catalizzatori sociali e innovativi, in linea con l’iniziativa nuovo Bauhaus europeo (NEB).
Obiettivo
The Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union will held during the second semester of 2023 a European Conference entitled ‘Cultural and creative industries, cities and citizens fostering sustainable development and the European way of living’. The objective is to reflect how the Cultural and Creatives Industries (CCIs) collaborate and contribute to improve people's quality of life by creating solutions through Culture and Science,
The event will pretend to be an international meeting point between Culture and Science by displaying, in a demonstrative, interactive and participatory way, CCIs’ European and collaborative projects and initiatives that are not only innovative and sustainable, but also accessible, affordable, socially committed and enriching for all in line with the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative. In this way, the event will be able to reflect how cultural and creative industries can collaborate as social and innovative drivers through a collaborative network.
The Conference will be organized held on 11, 12 and 13 July 2023 in Barcelona by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), in partnership with the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sports.
