Baseline scenarios

Definition and characteristics of the Pre-renovation and renovation baseline scenarios for the heritage townhouse archetypes with different cultural heritage values and heritage restrictions - as boundary conditions for WP2-3-4 concepts (Task 5.2)

Energy Conservation measures inventory

This report contains a longlist and shortlist of conservation-compatible energy conservation measures (i.e. insulation and air tightness measures) for the building envelope of heritage townhouses. The shortlist of measures is compiled from the longlist after a case-specific evalulation and risk assessment (Task 2.2).

Comfort and IAQ in heritage townhouses

The IEQ, HVAC concepts and energy use in existing heritage townhouses is investigated using data from existing literature and databases, and complementary measurements in selected case-study heritage town houses in three climate zones. The report will document the data and analyses, and the identified pre-renovation HVAC baseline scenarios (T3.1).

Building envelope characteristics

The case-studies will adopt a uniform assessment procedure in line with EN 16883. For the different building envelope components the heritage characteristics (i), thermal performance (ii), and durability (iii) are evaluated. This report compiles the data and findings on the analysis of the building envelope characteristics for the different cases/regions (Task 2.1).

HVAC-concepts for heritage buildings

This report contains a longlist and shortlist of conservation-compatible HVAC concepts for heritage townhouses. The longlist is based on a review of HVAC systems in the literature and market. The shortlist of measures is compiled from the longlist after a case-specific evalulation and is complemented with new and innovative solutions as starting point for the innovations in T3.3 and T3.4 (Task 3.2.1).

Cultural heritage analysis and value assessment

Compilation of cultural heritage values based on the cultural heritage analysis, covering aesthetic, architectural, historic, scientific, cultural, experiential, social values and beyond; (Task 5.1.1)

The DMP outlines how data will be collected/handled/stored according to the FAIR principles.
