This report will identify and provide a preliminary design of the key technologies enabling technologies required for the PROTEUS-6G service management, orchestration and control enablers for the target 6G packet-optical x-haul network, based on use-cases and network architecture defined in WP2, and preliminary node and TXR designs defined in WP3/WP4.

This report will present the various implementation studies for the SDPtMP distribution unit based on the constituent filtering/switching components, outlining their pros/cons in terms of functionality vs. implementation complexity as well as specify preferred choice, detailing the pertinent trade-offs analysis (in synchrony with WP2 activity).
