Project description
Empowering communities in the journey towards inclusive energy
As global energy consumption continues to rise, so do the challenges of sustainability and inclusivity. Many communities, especially marginalised ones, lack access to efficient solutions. Traditional approaches often overlook these disparities, exacerbating environmental and social inequalities. In response, the EU-funded ENERGENIUS project has emerged as a groundbreaking initiative. It aims to revolutionise energy management by fostering an inclusive, community-driven transition. At its core lies the ENERGENIUS Suite, a sophisticated digital platform designed to integrate sectors and deliver tailored, AI-driven solutions for energy efficiency and societal well-being. With its commitment to ‘Leave No One Behind,’ ENERGENIUS sets benchmarks for secure, interconnected data exchange in pursuit of sustainable development goals.
Objective
The ENERGENIUS project provides an innovative pathway dedicated to cultivating an inclusive, community-driven energy transition, underpinned by the ethos of 'Leave No One Behind.' At its heart is the ENERGENIUS Suite, a comprehensive, one-stop-shop digital platform providing a wide range of interlinked services, including digital twin models, serious games, cross-sectoral dashboards, marketplace and AI-driven recommendations. This robust ecosystem amalgamates data across various sectors—from energy, healthcare, and finance to traffic, social media, real estate, and tourism—delivering customized, AI-powered solutions for energy efficiency. By harnessing the collective intelligence of its community, ENERGENIUS not only offers personalized energy-saving advice but also reciprocally enriches multiple sectors. Upholding the highest standards in interoperability and privacy-by-design, ENERGENIUS is establishing new milestones for secure, seamless cross-sectoral data exchange.
