Obiettivo

The result of the project will be an autonomous monitoring system for the purpose of on-site detection and evaluation of oil leakages in underwater offshore-installations. The system is based on a hydrocarbon sensor initially developed for scientific purposes. The system allows the early organization of adequate intervention. It is particularly suited in regions (deep-water, artic) difficult to access and at a distance from operation control facilities. Benefits are in production, safety and cost.
