Final Activity Report Summary - DLRIG-1 (In vivo molecular genetic analysis of DLRIG-1, a novel putative modulator of EGFR signalling in the nervous system of D. melanogaster)
In this project the function of a novel gene from the fruit fly, named DLRIG-1, was examined. In particular its role as a modulator of an evolutionarily conserved signal transduction pathway. The epidermal growth factor receptor signalling cascade is examined during development of the nervous system and the eye of the fruit fly.
