Obiettivo
"A Specific Support Action to establish a European Platform of Nursing Research" This proposal aims to enhance nursing research by identifying research programmes and potential for collaboration across Europe, within the context of multidisciplinary heal thcare practice. A Nursing Research Development Group (NRDG) will review nursing research, (meaning research on nursing issues or by nurses). The NRDG will develop a framework for programmes of research based on partnership between countries, concentratin g, initially, on EU countries where nursing research is most developed. This will provide a focus for international nursing research, increasing collaboration and enhancing capability for the delivery of nursing research. The SSA has four objectives: 1.m ap current research strategies, programmes and activities 2.map research capacity and capability building strategies 3.to identify areas where programmes of nursing research can be developed 4.develop an application for a Coordination Action for the call of October 2005, to establish a European Platform of Nursing Research.
