Final Activity Report Summary - SURETE (Sustainable resource technologies)
This Early Stage Training Site at the University of Nottingham centred on combining expertise in science and engineering to deliver interdisciplinary training in sustainable resource technologies to provide the basis for research training in novel, ultra-efficient and environmentally benign resource processes.
Over the period 11 fellows have obtained training in three research areas - high powered directed microwaves, microbial fuel cell technology and anaerobic digestion, particle-fluid swirling flows. All fellows were trained in a variety of relevant techniques as well as innovation and technology transfer and English language.
