STAR (Systematic Testing and Reviewing) is a packaged process to incorporate integrated evaluation tasks throughout the entire life cycle of software products. It integrates testing and reviewing in a systematic manner. The process is supported by a B-kin developed tool: B-kin Links.
The main Business achievement of STAR is the improvement of software quality in terms of reduction of errors delivered in the product. As one of the possible ways to reach this objective, developers have chosen improvement of the testing process. They therefore have two intermediate technical objectives: to improve Internal Quality and Committed Quality.
