Final Report Summary - TRIPL-E DOSE (Days of Socio-Economy: Education, Employment, Europe)
The main idea of the TRIPL-E DOSE project was to summarise and disseminate outcomes of socio-economic research resulting from the Fifth Framework Programme (FP5) and Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) projects which were related to the spheres of education and employment in Europe. The direct objective was to transfer the applicable, practical knowledge produced under two clusters of EU-funded projects (i.e. concerning education and employment) towards target groups involved in the implementation of respective policies at different levels, to receive their feedback, to elaborate recommendations for the future and to enhance mutual links and cooperation.
A conference, under the title 'Education, employment, Europe' was organised on 21-22 September 2006 in Cracow. Poster session was attended by 60 participants and the presentations triggered new ideas of cooperation. 108 participants registered to the conference, 105 (including 13 last minute registrations) attended (24 from Austria, Czech Repuplic, Germany, Estonia, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Iceland, Lithuania, Netherland, Portugal, Slovakia, United Kingdom). The contributions presented during the conference and summaries of workshops (including recommendations) have been made available at the project website. A follow-up seminar, under the title 'Framework Programmes and European Social Fund for education and employment in Europe' was organised to discuss Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) research topics versus expectations and needs of the education and employment sectors as well as links of Cracow conference recommendations offered to both sectors by structural funds. 77 participants registered to the seminar, 45 attended (from Czech Republic, Finland, France, Italy, Poland). The presentations shown during the seminar are available at the project webpage: http://www.kpk.gov.pl/triple/s_presentations.html(si apre in una nuova finestra) .
The project webpage: http://www.kpk.gov.pl/triple/(si apre in una nuova finestra) has been active throughout the lifespan of the project and will be active during the FP7.
