New therapies for uveal melanoma

Livrables

European guidelines for UM patient management and dissemination status

Our goal is also to work on European guidelines for UM patient management based on what is available alreday thourgh the UK guidelines They will include any additional data or recommendations from the UM Cure 2020 project and rely on the expertise of clinicians from the four European referral centres involved in the project Our objective is indeed to make those Europeanwide and applicable to any caregiver who could have to manage and treat a UM patientAt M60 these guidelines will be provided with a description of their dissemination status

Kick-off meeting

At M2 after the kick-off meeting for the project, a report will be produced which will include the detailed agenda and the minutes of the meeting, as a record of the efficient launch of the project.

Establishing a collection of approx. 200 metastatic UM samples

Our objective would be to reach approx 200 metastatic UM samples collected along the project with matched primary tissue and blood sample whenever possible At M60 at the end of the project we will produce a report on what we have been able to achieve through the concerted action of the reference centres involved and on what these biosamples have been partly used for in the frame of the project

Release of main UM Cure 2020 communication tools

The main communication tools for the project, namely the website, social media platforms and UM Cure 2020 Consent Card, will be set-up at project start, for a release at M4. A report at M4 will describe such tools and confirm their availability.

Agreement on minimum dataset for all currently banked UM biosamples

The aim of this deliverable is to share the information currently collected for UM patients and samples across the reference centres, in order to agree on a common minimal set of data that should be available for all UM samples. This precedes the harmonisation efforts among centres which is absolutely necessary to build the common virtual biobank. The common minimal set will be represented by an Excel file with one column per field to be included in the database, and an attached report with description of the work.

Status of prospective collection and use of collected biosamples

D1.3 will consist in a report on the status at M36 of recruitment of prospective UM biosamples under the project. In addition, the status of overall samples available through the network will be included, together with a summary of how these biosamples have been used so far for WP3 and WP4.
