A thorough review of the state-of-the-art and the relevant methodological tools in the area of mmWave communications and antenna-array design

Survey of the state-of-the-art and review of multi-tenancy architectures and strategies

A thorough review of the state-of-the-art on SDN and virtualization techniques to ensure multi-tenancy and flexible resource allocation will be reported.

Evaluation and optimization of mmWave small cell communications

The optimization algorithms for small cell deployment and the proposed utility functions for user association will be presented and evaluated.

Performance assessment of cell-less protocols in 5G networks

The proposed schemes will be evaluated and discussed.

Deployment and benchmark evaluation of multi-tenant mechanisms and operations in 5G networks

Evaluation and benchmarking of the proposed schemes through simulations and testbed implementations will be reported.
