Risultati finali

Plan for communication and dissemination

Specific plannig for communication and disseination to scientific, industrial and social communities.

Manual for smart management system installation., integration and use

Manual for smart mangement system instalation with data to obtain information and to define new KPIs.

Report on evaluation of industrial applications due to detected alternatives for heat recovery

A market study will be performed in order to identify other type of processes in energy intensive companies where this residual heat streams types are also generated. For each process the different residual heat streams types will be identified. Where they are produced and their nature will be studied to evaluate the possibility of technology transfer. Each new identified opportunity of application will be correlated with the different technological and industrial impacts expected in the development of this project.

Report on detection and qualification of recovery possibilities

The final result will be the energy quantification of the residual heat streams considered as potentially reusable energy.

Report regarding environmental impact

A report of environmental impact will be displayes specially regaring carbon foot print

Market analysis of interchange and accumulation solutions

MET will study and describe available technical solutions, enabling operations in high temperature environments, used in different markets, like chemistry or power generation industry, trying to identify the optimal solution for the iron & steel industry, taking into account the data collected in Task 2.3. MET will analyse and describe elements like: physical properties of the storage tank and heat exchange systems, volumes, working temperatures and pressures, thermal insulation, corrosion resistance of the material, shapes and materials used for tube registers, which will have to provide sufficient storage capacity, fast dynamics and effective heat conductivity within the storage material (PCM). MET will analyse and describe their technological properties and possible adaptation to the developed system. Final analysis will show cost-efficiency of each analysed system.

Lifecycle assessment report (LCA)

This deliverable will describe the potential environmental impacts associated with the energy inputs and outputs will be evaluated and the results of the inventory analysis and impact assessment phases will be interpreted to the objectives of the study.

Technical and economical validation report of the system

Real data analysis of energy recovery and achieved saving to productin line working to full rate.
