Strengthening the Research potential of CAREESD in the field of Electromechanical Systems and Power Electronics for Sustainable Applications

First periodic report

First periodic report on the activity and results of the project.

List of all publications of UTCN during the three years preceding the start date of the project

All publications (in the electromechanical systems and power electronics field of research) of the UTCN during the three years preceding the start date of the project will be introduced in the reporting tool on the Participant Portal by month 2 of the project.

Dissemination, communication and exploitation plan

The plan will be developed for setteling all the means for a proper dissemination, communication and exploitation in the frame of ESPESA. The document will be reviwed every 3 months.

Project management documents

The documents for an efficient project management will be developed: work plan, progress monitoring plan, risk management plan, non-disclosure agreement, and agreement on the online remote utilization of the available software packages, tutorials, models, data basis etc.

Guide of best practice for culture of innovation

The TT&IM group will develop a guide of best practice in order to deploy the culture of innovation in the research groups. Furthermore, it will review the invention report, conduct patent searches, and analyse the competitive technologies to determine the invention's commercialization potential. The evaluation process, which may lead to a broadening or refinement of the invention, will guide the setting up of a strategy focus on licensing to an existing company or creating a new business start-up.

TT&IM group

A Technology Transfer and Innovation Management Group (TT&IM) will be built with the task to promote and raise awareness of the importance of knowledge and technology transfer, and the commercialisation of research outputs. The group will act as an interface between science and business, being a central point of contact between the Centre and the companies.

Marketing materials

Flyers, posters, brochures will be prepared and updated periodically in order to disseminate the information on the activities and results of ESPESA.

ESPESA website, logo, templates for documents and presentations

All thetools and templates for a proper identification of the project will be used.

Collaborative environment

The internal website and the common platform to work on will be set-up.
