Tomography is based on the fundamental principle of acquiring a series of different views from a single sample and obtaining a higher-dimensional reconstruction. In this proposal, we developed our reconstruction algorithm into an innovative industrial level package, which allows for tomographic reconstructions in an unparalleled speed and quality. At the end of the funding period, we have managed to address and to meet all crucial deliverables. We currently provide our software for academic partners as open source and free of charge, with a modularized source code, direct manipulation of the Modulation Transfer Functions and with an intuitive graphical interface. All components have been implemented using GPGPU technology. For industrial partners, a daughter company of the Goethe University takes care of all marketing and commercialization issues. Our software package will be used for further development and we will keep pushing for quality improvements in tomographic reconstructions.
