National Data Protection Authority Approval

Copies of ethical approvals for the collection of personal data or the respective notifications (depending on the type of personal data that will be collected and according to the national data protection legislation) by National Data Protection authorities will be submitted to the European Commission, after the kick-off meeting where the partners will identify the exact data type to be collected and then determine the approval type for each country involved and apply for it to each National Data Protection authority.

Report including recommendations of Smart-AKIS thematic network on SFT.

End-User Material

"The resulting innovative knowledge and easy accessible end-user material from this project should feed into the EIP-AGRI website for broad dissemination. The end-user material to be produced contains a substantial number of summaries for practitioners in the EIP common format (""practice abstracts""), including the characteristics of the project (e.g. contact details of partners, etc). A full package of practice abstracts is needed for the project, containing all the outcomes/recommendations which are ready for practice. A ""practice abstract"" is a short summary of around 1000-1500 characters (see below) which describes a main information/recommendation/practice that can serve the end-users in their daily practice. The guidance to be followed for these practice abstracts and some explanatory text is available on the EIP-AGRI web site (http://ec.europa.eu/eip/agriculture/en/content/eip-agri-common-format). • Short summary for practitioners (1000-1500 characters, word count – no spaces). This summary will at least contain the following information: • Main results/outcomes of the activity (expected or final) • The main practical recommendation(s): what would be the main added value/benefit/opportunities to the end-user if the generated knowledge is implemented? How can the practitioner make use of the results? This summary will be presented as interesting as possible for farmers/end-users, using a direct and easy understandable language and pointing out entrepreneurial elements which are particularly relevant and attractive for practitioners (e.g. related to cost, productivity etc). Research oriented aspects which do not help the understanding of the practice itself should be avoided. "

Report on framework, methodology and standards

A framework for innovation processes’ analyses will be developed and harmonised with D1.1 in exchange with the lead partners from WP 1. Secondly, a methodology and assessment templates will be elaborated, proposed to partners and discussed as guidelines and backbones for the tasks 2.2 and 2.3, in order to ensure the collection of data in a homogeneous way, and avoid misconceptions.

Report on identified policy gaps and policy briefs

A review report for the identification of the policy gaps to be used as input to policy briefs. A series of 7 policy briefs will be developed in the form of crisp and focused two page documents concentrating each on two or three key messages which can be easily and quickly grasped by the target group in each case.

Final Report on Smart-AKIS Events and general Dissemination activities

Final Report describing all dissemination activities and including all relevant material produced in the whole project reporting period.

Third update report on project results and industry solutions

A final update of project results and industry solutions will be carried out 18 months after the first deliverables and the final report and the database will be presented.

Smart-AKIS Dissemination Plan will be updated 18 months after the first version.

Industry solutions on SFT

Structured report and database of relevant industry products/applications on SFT based on the methodology established at D1.1 where a relation of the key points of our project will be addressed.

Project Management Handbook

The Project Management Handbook will present the main aspects related to Smart-AKIS management summarizing the organizational structure, operating procedures and management tools of the project. Emphasis will be given to the risk management, i.e. the identification and analysis of risks, the process of handling them as well as potential suggestions for addressing them (contingency planning).

Second update of project results and industry solutions will be carried out twelve months after the first deliverables.

First Smart farming platform report

A report presenting the platform functionalities and content creation, operation and maintenance activities. The report will be delivered upon the delivery of the platform.

Virtual test bed and collaboration tool

A Virtual test bed and collaboration tool will be developed for the inclusive demonstration and assessment of the identified solutions. The tool with act as both a content aggregator and a single point of entry for end-users.

Ontology of SFT concepts

An ontology will be published online which contains an estimated 200-400 terms relating specifically to Smart Farming Technology.

Networking facility

A Permanent Networking Facility will be developed enhancing networking potential of relevant communities and matching of the supply and demand side.

Multi-media material

multi-media documented lessons-learnt from successful innovation processes (short, handy reports; video or audio material for each case), including best practices.

Data Management Plan & Support Pack

This deliverable will be a report that will specify how research publications and data will be collected, processed, monitored, catalogued, and disseminated during the project’s lifetime. It will also include a Support Pack with guidelines explaining how they should practically apply the guidelines during their research activities, which software tools and services they should use, and how they can align the project requirements with their institutions’ standard practices and systems.
