Sintesi del contesto e degli obiettivi generali del progetto

The Smooth Reader project by Sistemas OEE de Productividad Industrial S.L.L. was approved within the call for SME Instrument H2020, Topic NMP-25-2015: Accelerating the uptake of nanotechnologies, advanced materials or advanced manufacturing and processing technologies by SMEs, Call 2015-06-17.
The general objective of the Project was to design the business strategy, the business model, and both the intellectual property and marketing strategies of Sistemas OEE de Productividad Industrial S.L.L. (hereinafter SOEE). To achieve this, a business plan has been elaborated that allows for the commercial expansion of the company at an international level, basing this on its range of “Smooth Readers” products
The main objectives of the project were the following:
1. Market survey
2. Study of the global strategy for intellectual property
3. Development of the Business Model, and of the commercial, marketing, industrial and financial strategies for the project’s internationalization
4. Definition of the Business Plan

The Smooth Reader project has been developed as planned within the SME Instrument Phase 1, in terms of deadlines, budgets, actions and results achieved.

Activity No. 1 of the project has enabled better understanding of the market, and the ability to verify that the product is commercially accepted in Europe. We have checked the best type of partners to support the worldwide commercial deployment of the solution. Activity No. 2 saw the design of the intellectual property protection strategy with the support of an IP agency. In Activity No. 3, the business model has been designed employing the Canvas methodology, along with the alliance, and business and marketing strategies. The company has undertaken a very important strategic reflection, involving the whole organization. Activity No. 4 included the development of a comprehensive business plan, which includes an economic & financial plan for the next four years

Thanks to the suport given by this iniciative, Sistemas OEE has developed innovative systems for the monitoring of manufacturing lines using the latest technologies on the market, and incorporating their own developments, which are in themselves elements that make advanced production easier. Sistemas OEE makes the data capture systems for the improvement of productivity accessible for European SMEs, so these SMEs can incorporate progressively advanced production technologies.
Promoters expects to demonstrate that Sistemas OEE will soon be an internationally recognized company within the field of industrial productivity, the digitization of factories and the overall efficiency of industrial equipment. Sistemas OEE and will have generated a significant number of jobs, as well as important economic surpluses.
